Demand and Supply

POSTING DEMAND
This feature of cementtrade allows you to post any requirements you have (pertaining to the cementindustry) on the site,Posting Demand on the site will enable you to receive the best deals from our database of suppliers .
All Responses to your demand will be posted on the My Briefcase section of the site which is accessable to only you by loging in SUBJECT TO AUTHENTICATING YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION.
You will receive an email..confirming that we have authenticated you as a valid user .
To Post Demand on cementtrade you need to be a registered user of the site.

Clicking on the post demand link on the Demand and Supply section of the site will take you to a page with a comprehensive list of products as well as a box to enter the location where these goods are needed.
Once you have selected the products from the list and clicked the submit button..you will be taken to a page where you can enter the quantity of the products you need as well as the price you need it at.
This done your demand will be posted on cementtrade subject to authentication .
Once you have responses to your demand they will be accessable to you on your "My Briefcase" page...

POSTING SUPPLY
This feature of cementtrade allows you to post your capacity for suppliying goods (pertaining to the cementindustry) on the site,Posting Supply on the site will enable you to receive inquiries from manufacturers.
These inquiries will be posted on the My Briefcase Section of the site which is accessable to only you by loging in SUBJECT TO AUTHENTICATING YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION.
You will receive an email..confirming that we have authenticated you as a valid user .
To Post Supply on cementtrade you need to be a registered user of the site.

SEARCHING DEMAND & SUPPLY
You may search Demand and Supply by Product Date of Posting, as well as Location. The results you get will indexed on the criteria you searched on.You may respond to the same by clicking on the Product.

News
The News section of the site showcases important hapennings in the cement industry world wide. It allows a user a comprehensive and up to date resource on line. You may search this section of the site on the basis of Keywords , Title as well as date.
Registered Users can also submit an article to cementtrade which will be posted on the site subject to authentication.
You can also post a message regarding the article and spark a debate on the subject. This will be posted on the message boards section of the site.
Papers
The Papers section of the site showcases important research in the cement industry world wide. It allows a user a comprehensive and up to date resource on line. You may search this section of the site on the basis of Keywords , Title as well as date.
Registered Users can also submit a paper to cementtrade which will be posted on the site subject to authentication.
You can also post a message regarding the paper and spark a debate on the subject. This will be posted on the message boards section of the site.
Boards

The Boards section of the site is a place on cementtrade where users can post their comments or spark a discussion based on content on the site as well as recent hapennings in the cement industry. To post a message ..you would need to be logged into the site as well as be an authenticated user.

A user may either reply to a existing topic on the site or start his own topic.

All postings are subject to authentication.

Jobs

The Jobs section of cementtrade serves as a place where companies can post their job openings on the site and receive candidates in their mail box.

It also serves as a place where candidates / job seekers may search for job openings posted by cement companies .

Events

The Events section keeps users upto date with the latest hapennings in the cement world by way of seminars and forums that will help increase productivity and gain exposure.

This section allows a user to see details of the event namely, the date on which it is, the location as well as a brief description of the event along with requisite contact details. Cementtrade also urges regular users of the site to submit authentic events to us in order to further expand our database of annual events.

This section is also for companies/cement organizations that which to draw attention to their own events and require exposure.

My Briefcase

The My Briefcase section is the hub of the site. It is where all the action is. However this section is available to registered users only.

This section of the site is where users can manage their deals on cementtrade as well as the responses to these deals.

When you post a demand/supply on the site it automatically gets transfered to your briefcaseas well as the sites demand and supply section, subject to authentication from cementtrade. When you receive a response to your posting, it too will appear on your briefcase. You have the opportunity to accept or reject the response at your will.
In the event that you accept the demand .. your request to set up the deal will be forwarded to cementtrade and you and the third party will be contacted by cementtrade using the information submitted to cementtrade in your registeration forms.
However if your choice is toreject the response , it will be removed from your briefcase permanently.

In addition this section of the site also stores your favourite articles,research papers and events as well as other value added services.

Cement World

Cement World is the search engine for the cement world at large. Find Cement Companies,Traders,Manufacturers of Consumables etc. by name, location and product.

Registration

The registeration form on the site requires users to enter required fields denoted by a * . These fields are mandatory and registeration cannot be completed without this information.
Cementtrade requires this information in order to keep the the authenticity of the site high as well as enforce that we are here to do business.

Login

If you are experiencing problems logging in to the site it would probably mean that you need to enable cookies in your browser. This can be done in Internet Explorer by visiting the "TOOLS" menu and reviewing the security settings and in Netscape it would mean visiting the "EDIT" menu ,clicking PREFERENCES and then checking the settings in "roaming access".
NOTE : If Cookies are not enabled you will not be able to login.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password ..Click the forgot password link and you will be prompted to enter your user name ...this done you will be asked a question the answer to which you gave at the time of registeration.
If this is answered correctly ..your password will be displayed to you.
